Following on from a morning workshop, there will be a book launch for Vimalasara’s new book: First Aid Kit for the Mind.

First Aid Kit for the Mind is an illustrated, accessible guide to choosing recovery over addiction, reactivity and unhelpful habits. Keep this small book close for those moments when you need inspiration, guidance, and the courage to deal with your impulses skillfully.

About Vimalasara:
As Vimalasara is based in Canada, this is a rare opportunity to meet one of the leading voices in Mindfulness approaches for addiction. They are the author and editor of 11 books, including the award winning, Eight Step Recovery: Using The Buddha’s Teachings to Overcome Addiction” and “Detox Your Heart: Meditations for Emotional Trauma”.
