Awakened Mind, Embodied Heart: Living from the Brahma Viharas
We often think of the Brahma Viharas—Loving-Kindness, Compassion, Sympathetic Joy, and Equanimity—as distant ideals or divine realms beyond our reach. But through embodied meditation, we can directly experience these sublime states as felt, living qualities within us. This retreat invites you to gently awaken the subtle and delightful sensations of Metta, Karuna, Mudita, and Upekkha in your body, heart, and mind. Join together with Sangha friends and create space to allow the Brahma Viharas to become the ground from which you live and respond to the world.
Open to anyone who has learned Mindfulness of Breathing and Metta Bhavana
