2025 marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Bhante Sangharakshita, the founder of the Triratna Community we are part of. Paramartha was his long term friend and companion and is also the President of our Centre.
We are delighted to have Paramatha visiting us, to evoke the time that Bhante lived in Moseley on Chantry Road nearby, and talk about his relationship with the Centre at that time. The evening will also include a launch of an exciting new exhibition, showcasing the history of the Birmingham Buddhist Centre telling just some of the story of our sangha and our building over the past 26 years.
Maitrisara will also be updating us on the progress of the Polishing the Jewel appeal to renovate and repair our beloved Centre.

Every 7 weeks there will be a new theme, along with pujas and guest speakers. Each session is stand alone, so you don’t have to come to every one in the series.

Dharma night runs from 7:15 – 9:15pm every Thursday evening. Doors open at 7pm for a chance to chat and have tea before hand. Open to anyone who is familiar with the mindfulness of breathing and metta bhavana meditations.
