Classes for Regulars - Going Deeper
A Going Deeper Course is a great way to learn to express the Buddhist teachings in our life and practice, with support from experienced meditators. Please check this website regularly or phone the Centre for current course dates.

from 15th May – 3 weeks on Meditation
Thursdays – Exploring the Threefold Way
from 12th January – 6 weeks on Ethics
from 1st March – 5 weeks on Meditation
from 12th April – 7 weeks on Wisdom
We do not charge for Buddhism classes - but donations to help keep the Centre running are always needed and welcome. As a guideline, we would suggest £7 for evening or weekend classes (or £3.50 for those on low income) and £4 / £2 for weekday lunchtime classes.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, besides beginners’ classes, there is an ongoing opportunity for anyone who has been introduced to both meditation practices that we teach, to meditate and study with like-minded people.
Just turn up on any Tuesday or Thursday evening 7.15-9.45pm.
On Tuesdays you can choose between the Introductory Meditation Class, the Double Meditation, the current Courses (see below for dates).
In addition on Tuesdays, all are welcome to join us for an informal supper of baked potatoes from 6.30pm.
On Thursdays there are three follow-on courses of five, six or seven weeks’ duration: an Ethics course, a Meditation course, and a Wisdom course. These three courses are offered sequentially over the course of a year. They provide a thorough introduction to the practice of Buddhism in the modern world. (See below for dates.)
For all our evening classes, please arrive by 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.
Finish at 9.45pm.

Saturday Silent Meditation Mornings

A chance to spend a bit more time in meditation than we might manage at home. The morning will consist of three meditations, and it is possible just to come along for the first one or two if you've not time for three. Suitable for those familiar with the mindfulness of breathing and metta bhavana. Donations welcome.
