The following classes are suitable for anyone who has already
completed our Introduction to
Buddhist meditation course.
Tuesday Night is Dharma Night
A new series of evenings starting on 7th September
with Saraha and Chandramani
No higher teachings, just deeper understandings
Core Dharma teachings of Urgyen Sangharakshita
6.30pm Join us for potatoes, bring fillings or just turn
up hungry.
7.30pm Short (20 min) talk followed by discussion groups
Tea Break
8.50pm Meditation
9.45pm Finish
or double meditation with Ratnamegha, 7.15 9.15pm
Thursday evening drop-In meditation and Dharma Discussion
For anyone who is already familiar with the Mindfulness of Breathing
and Metta Bhavana meditation practices. Come along any week.

Friday Night Meditation & Puja
Ritual and devotion: The language of the heart
"The Sevenfold Puja is the act not of a single person or of
a group of people, but of the spiritual community" (Sangharakshita,
Ritual and Devotion p45).
Suitable for people with some experience of meditation and puja
within the Triratna Community.
There will be various themes each evening with a short talk before
the puja.
Doors open: 7.15pm
Meditation: 7.30pm sharp (30 minute open sit)
Short tea break
Puja: 8.15pm sharp (starts with short talk)
Led by Shuddhakirti.
Women's Foundation Course
Open to all women in the Midlands who have learned both the Mindfulness
of Breathing and the Metta Bhavana meditation practices, and are interested
at looking a little deeper into Buddhism.

wish to come along.
Monday Evenings at 7pm
Early Morning Meditation
7am - 8am, 7 days a week
And 8am - 9am Monday - Friday
***Please note that there will be no 7am meditation at weekends
during August. Weekday meditation will continue as usual***
7am: Begin your day by meditating with others at the Buddhist
Centre from 7am - 8am. A simple one-hour open sit without instruction.
7am, 7 days a week (except weekends during August). Doors
open at 6.50am. Meditation begins at 7am sharp.
8am: For those who start their day slightly later, there
is a second slot at 8am during the week (not on weekends). If
you are coming for the 8am meditation, please arrive from 7.50am, to
start at 8am prompt.
This means that Monday to Friday there is the option of doing a single
meditation at 7am, or a single meditation at 8am, or a double-meditation
from 7am to 9am.
Silent Saturday Practice Mornings
10am - 1pm every Saturday
A chance to spend a bit more time in meditation than we might manage
at home. The morning will consist of three meditation sits, and
it is possible to just come along for the first two if you wish.
Suitable for those familiar with the mindfulness of breathing and metta
bhavana. It is a dana class.
